Sep 2024Verified BuyerShould Become Standard EquipmentHaving used both the original filter cap and a "pressure" cap from a competing company over several years, I can say with no doubts that the Aeropress Flow Control Cap comes out miles ahead of either of those options. I feel as though it should really be a (discounted) upgrade option for every basic Aeropress package, if not standard equipment!You get the expected ease of workflow but, for those preferring "espresso-adjacent" brews, you get concentrated, crema-topped shots using a fraction of the physical effort that the competitor's pressure cap requires. You get excellent, varied results with either the metal or the paper filter discs and since I'm turning more to paper filtration for health reasons, relying on the competitor's metal filter disc is less attractive to me.AeroPress Stainless Steel Filter - Standard Was this helpful? 4 0
