Flow control filter.
I love the flow control filter since it allows me to brew without any dripping. It does a good espresso shot that I can work with to create cream images on top of the cup.

Sep 2024Verified BuyerShould Become Standard EquipmentHaving used both the original filter cap and a "pressure" cap from a competing company over several years, I can say with no doubts that the Aeropress Flow Control Cap comes out miles ahead of either of those options. I feel as though it should really be a (discounted) upgrade option for every basic Aeropress package, if not standard equipment!You get the expected ease of workflow but, for those preferring "espresso-adjacent" brews, you get concentrated, crema-topped shots using a fraction of the physical effort that the competitor's pressure cap requires. I've maybe had boiling coffee go everywhere when I was in a bit too much of a rush. Not fun.
